Beverly Summer Softball

Every summer BGSL participates in the Middle Essex Summer Softball League. This is a semi-local travel team consisting of teams from Middlesex and Essex County. They league does try their best to schedule our games with surrounding towns as to limit the amount of travel time each team will have. However there may be the occasional game that may be a little further out (but still always within Middlesex and Essex counties). Games are weeknights, Monday - Thursday (start times are usually 6:00 or 6:30). There are no mandatory practices. We understand that they are still kids and on summer vacation, but at the coaches discretion there may be practices from time to time.  

Our goal as an organization for this league is to keep the girls playing beyond our Spring division and challenge them with more competition while working on advancing skills and having fun!

Every season our goal is to have at least 1 team in the 10u, 12u, and 14u age groups. This year we will be offering an 18u age group as well!
