BGSL Clinic Protocol

Upon entering the YMCA Teen Center, participants will be required to have submitted a Covid Self-Screening Form.  Participants will be asked to use a pump of hand sanitizer before participating in clinic drills.  Hand sanitizer will be available to participants throughout the clinic.  Any shared equipment will be sanitized after use.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment to minimize any contamination - bats, helmets, etc.  Personal equipment will not be shared with other participants.

Please note that participants must wear sneakers - there are NO cleats allowed in the YMCA Teen Center.

Also, please note the entrance for the clinic is through the main front door and participants will be exiting through the side door at the left of the building.

MA Travel Protocol

Massachusetts travel order limitations will apply to our Softball community.  Please read the following information from Mass.gov and Boston.com regarding current and updated MA travel.

Mass.Gov Covid-19 Travel Order:
All visitors entering Massachusetts, including returning residents, who do not meet an exemption, are required to:

1)19 r Complete the Massachusetts Travel Form Prior to arrival
2) Quarantine for 10 days or produce a negative Covid-19 test result that has been administered up to 72-hours prior to your arrival in MA.  If not obtained before entry to MA, a test may be obtained after arrival.  However, all such arriving travelers must immediately begin the 10-day quarantine until a negative test result has been received.  Failure to comply may result in a $500 fine per day.

Updated restrictions:  Individuals who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 for at least 14 days are no longer required to quarantine or have a recent negative test result upon arriving in MA under a new exception made to the state's emergency travel rules this week.  The updated rules, which apply to most people visiting or returning from states with high CV-19 rates, say that asymptomatic individuals who have gotten both doses of Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or a single dose of the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than 14 days ago do not need to quarantine for 10 days or have a negative CV-19 test upon arrival in MA.  (Boston.com 3/10/21)
