2021 Registration is Open!
The 202 Beverly Girls Softball league registration is open!
We will follow the same League structure that was changed with the 2019 Spring Season.
Our divisions: 6U (K and 1st grade), 8U (2nd and 3rd grade), 10U (4th and 5th grade) are based on grades instead of birthdate. We believe this will remove a lot of confusion and allow classmates to play in the same divisions.
We made a big change in our older division. In 2019 we introduced a new Middle School division encompassing 6th, 7th and 8th grade and it was a very competitive, well-rounded division. We had been considering this for several years. Our neighbors in Danvers added this five years ago and they’ve said it’s their strongest division with the best camaraderie. Our former senior division was 8th grade and all of high school, but in actuality we’ve only had a couple of freshman play in the last four years. We’re very excited about the new division and think it will allow us to have a large league with our most experienced players.

We are always trying to improve the league. In past years we’ve added pre-season pitching and hitting clinics, and are hoping to continue our in-season clinics.
The BHS softball clinic dates have been confirmed! This series of clinics is beneficial for girls of all ages and skill levels. The drills focus on developing good fundamental softball skills in the areas of warm ups, agility, catching, throwing, fielding and hitting. The drills are both age and skill specific and are run by the Beverly High School varsity coaching staff and her teams. The cost is $20, which covers all 3 dates, and can be paid at the clinic by cash, check (made out to Beverly Girls Softball League) or Venmo @bgslpayment (Jamie Silvestri). Proceeds from this clinic benefit Beverly High Boosters.
Clinic Dates: Sunday, March 14 from 9-12; Saturday, March 21 from 9-12; and Sunday, April 11 from 9-2* at the Beverly YMCA Teen Center. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your clinic time to sign in. Girls - please wear sneakers and bring a glove. **More specific Covid-19 regulations will be released as we get closer to clinic dates.**
